UMC Athletic Department receives Presidents’ Award for Academic Excellence

The University of Minnesota Crookston athletic department received the Presidents’ Award for Academic Excellence for the second-consecutive year. Minnesota Crookston also received the honor for 2023.  The Golden Eagles were one of just 43 NCAA Division II programs to receive the prestigious accolade from the NCAA. UMC ATHLETICS HAS 38 NAMED TO NSIC ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM

The University of Minnesota Crookston had 38 student-athletes named to the 2019 NSIC Fall All-Academic Teams as announced by the conference office Tues., Nov. 26. UMC ATHLETICS HIRES UMC GRAD TO HELP WITH EVENT MANAGEMENT/INTRAMURALS

STORY BY UMC ATHLETICS- The University of Minnesota Crookston athletic department announced the addition of Kolby Castillo as assistant event management and intramural coordinator. Castillo will serve as an event management coordinator for home athletic events for the Golden Eagles, and will also assist Assistant Athletic Director/Senior Woman’s Administrator Kamille Meyer in the Wellness Center

EIGHT UMC STUDENT-ATHLETES RECEIVE ALL-ACADEMIC AWARDS

Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Commissioner Erin Lind announced the recipients of the tenth annual NSIC Myles Brand All-Academic with Distinction Award winners Friday, January 18.
