HIGHWAY 75 IN HALSTAD TO HAVE TEMPORARY CLOSURE BEGINNING AUGUST 30

A brief closure of Highway 75 between Highway 200 and First Street will be in place beginning Friday, Aug. 30 at 7 a.m. and last until 7 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 31. The closure will allow crews to pave the eight-foot shoulder on the east side of the road. Access to local businesses and residents

DETOURS, LANE RESTRICTIONS AND INTERSECTION CLOSURES ON HWY 75 BEGIN MONDAY

Motorists can expect detours, lane restrictions and intersection closures as construction continues on Highway 75 in Hendrum and Halstad. Crews will continue Phase 1 (grade raise) on Highway 75 in Hendrum on Monday, August 5, as the project moves to Phase 2 in Halstad. Access to local businesses and residents will be maintained throughout the project.

TRAVELING ART EXHIBIT VISITS CAMPBELL LIBRARY IN EAST GRAND FORKS

Northwest Minnesota Arts Council sponsors an annual Traveling Art Exhibit, which visits northwest Minnesota communities throughout the year. The exhibit includes 10 original pieces of art by regional artists, chosen from works submitted for our annual juried exhibit. MNDOT TO HOST TWO OPEN HOUSES FOR PAIR OF HIGHWAY 75 RECONSTRUCTION PROJECTS

Additional open houses for a pair of Highway 75 reconstruction projects in Norman County are scheduled today. Along with the contractor, Spruce Valley Corporation, staff from MnDOT and the City, will be present to answer questions about the project and timeline.
