The second “Welcome to Crookston Sign” will be completed sometime this month. The first sign went up early in July on Highway 2 near the railroad tracks coming into Crookston from the West. On Monday, February 8 the Polk County Sheriff’s Office responded to a train derailment near Highway 75 and County Road 252 north of Crookston.
