The Crookston 12U B team finished second place at the West Region tournament this weekend in Monticello and advanced to the state tournament. Crookston beat Brainerd/Little Falls in the first round 6-2. Crookston beat North Wright County Red 6-5 in the second round. In the third round (winner is champion), Alexandria beat Crookston 5-1.

Defending champion, Mark Lyczewski, is the top seed for the championship flight. Matt Hiller had the best qualifying score with a 71. There are 77 golfers in this year’s tournament.
