The Crookston 12U B Girls Hockey team received a send-off at the Crookston Sports Center this morning from all of their friends, families, and supporters to the Minnesota State Girls 12U B Hockey Tournament in Virginia. The team consists of Adley Vigness, Madi Abrams, Shyuh Burnette, Rilynn Aubol, Mya Bower, Kira Daniels, Katie Seaver, Peyton Demarais, Aubrey Bartrum, and Hailey Fritz. The team is coached by Derrick Seaver, Brett Tahran, Jake Abrams, and Peter Vigness.
The send-off began with the team meeting in the Crookston Sports Center parking lot. After the team took pictures on the fire truck, they followed a police and fire escort through Crookston and out of town.Â
The team will have a Tournament Banquet at the Iron Trail Motors Event Center, where they will be playing their games, with their first game beginning tomorrow, March 18, at noon against Moose Lake. They will play either Marshall or Apple Valley, Burnsville, or Eastview on Saturday, March 19.Â
