THE SECTION 8A GIRLS SWIMMING AND DIVING MEET SCHEDULE HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED

The Section 8A Girls Swimming and Diving meet schedule has been announced.  The information is below – Diving: Thursday, October 22 at  Bemidji Warm-up:  11:30 a.m. Meet start:  1:00 p.m. Swimming events:  The Swimming events will be held at three different sites per the MSHSL guidelines that says not more than four schools at one site.

CROOKSTON PIRATE SOFTBALL CELEBRATES “SENIOR DAY”

Thursday, May 14 would have been Senior Day for the Crookston Pirate Softball team. They weren’t able to play, but the seven senior players still celebrated their day at the Donnie Lauf/Crookston American Legion Softball field behind Highland School in Crookston. UMC HAS 29 NAMED TO NSIC ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM

The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference announced that 740 student-athletes have earned NSIC All-Academic honors for the 2018 fall athletic season; 402 student-athletes were named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence, while 338 earned NSIC All-Academic Team honors. To be eligible for the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence, a student-athlete must have a 3.60 cumulative
