The Crookston Third Grade Girls basketball team went 2-1 and finished consolation champs at the Thief River Falls tournament on Friday. Our Savior’s Lutheran School celebrated National Lutheran Schools Week January 27 – 31, along with approximately 2,000 other Lutheran Church Missouri Synod schools nationwide. During the week, the students and staff participated in mission projects, dress-up days, field trips, leadership activities, and team-building projects, as well as learned from guest speakers. Sisters June Larson, age 7, and Hattie Larson, age 10, of Crookston, went fishing with their dad and grandpa in Canada at Cross Lake near Grand Rapids, Manitoba and caught some tremendous fish. The students at Our Savior’s Lutheran School has been celebrating National Lutheran Schools Week this week. There are over 2,000 Lutheran schools across the United States participating with the main theme for the week. The theme is Joy: Fully Lutheran, they learned, played, and grew together through many different lessons and activities throughout the week.
