On Monday and Tuesday, sixth-grade students from Our Savior’s Lutheran School traveled to Lutheran Island Camp for 2 days of Outdoor Education. While there, the students participated in lichen explorations, tree identifications, leaf casting, owl pellet dissection, and other outdoor related activities with students from other northern Minnesota Lutherans schools.
On Sunday, May 19 Our Savior’s Lutheran School held their graduation service for the 2019 school year. Graduating this year were James DeBoer, Keaton Gudvangen, Ava Edwards, Naomi Johnson, and Ella Lanctot. The school also recognized Lisa Bohler for 25 years of dedicated teaching service at Our Savior’s Lutheran School.
Our Savior’s Lutheran School students presented their spring musical at UMC’s Kiehle Auditorium on Friday, May 3. The musical, “The Kingdom Connection”, told the stories of Old Testament kings and their connection to Jesus Christ as King of Kings.
