Crookston 6th Grade Girls Basketball finishes third place at Sacred Heart tourney

The Crookston 6th grade girls basketball team placed 3rd at the Sacred Heart Basketball Tournament on Saturday. Crookston lost to Sacred Heart 27-7 in the first round. Crookston 6th Grade Girls Basketball wins the Ada-Borup-West tourney

The Crookston 6th grade girl’s basketball team won the championship at the Ada-Borup-West Cougar Classic tournament on Saturday in Ada. Crookston beat Badger/Greenbush-Middle River 24-4. BGMR & won 24-4. In the semi-finals, Crookston trailed by seven points at halftime but came back to beat East Grand Forks 23-21. In the championship, Crookston beat Warren-Alvarado-Oslo 22-7.

CROOKSTON 5TH GRADE GIRLS BASKETBALL TEAM FINISHES 3RD AT SACRED HEART

The Crookston Youth Basketball fifth-grade girls got third place in the Sacred Heart tournament this weekend. They lost to Sacred Heart 21-17, beat Riverside Christian 26-8, and beat Thompson 14-12  for third place, with Alle Kollin making a three to tie it up to go to overtime and Halle Perry making the sudden-death overtime basket
