The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is restricting open burning due to increased wildfire risk from dry conditions across much of Minnesota. ARTS GRANTS APPLICATIONS DEADLINES ARE COMING UP ORGANIZATIONS, SCHOOLS, AND INDIVIDUALS

Applications are open for arts grants to nonprofit arts organizations, communities, schools, individuals, and other nonprofit organizations. Applications are being accepted from our seven county Minnesota service areas including Kittson, Marshall, Norman, Pennington, Polk, Red Lake, and Roseau counties.  Nonprofit arts organizations can start applying for general operating funds. MNDOT REOPENS HIGHWAY 175 TO NORTH DAKOTA AND CANADIAN BORDER

The Minnesota Department of Transportation has reopened Highway 175 from Kittson County Road 34 to North Dakota Border after repairs have been completed. Highway 75 from Highway 171 to the Canadian border has also reopened. The highways were previously closed due to damage caused by flooding. Highways that remain closed: Highway 220 between Highway 1
