NORTHWEST GIRLS BASKETBALL CONFERENCE HANDS OUT AWARDS, BOROWICZ NAMED PLAYER OF THE YEAR

The Northwest Girls Basketball conference released the all-conference awards this week and Crookston’s Kylie Solheim, Rachel Hefta, and Emma Borowicz were named all-conference.  Dani Boyle and Hayden Winjum were named honorable mention.  Crookston, Bagley, East Grand Forks, Roseau, Thief River Falls, and Warroad are all members of the conference.  For all the award winners see

The KROX/Drafts Sports Bar and Grill Athletes of the week this week are Crookston Pirate Girls Basketball seniors, Kylie Solheim and Rachel Hefta. Solheim and Hefta are the only two seniors on the team and they have stepped up their play in the playoffs and have led the Pirates to the Section 8AA championship game

CROOKSTON GIRLS BASKETBALL STIFLES EGF IN ROUTE TO SECTION 8AA CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

PIRATE GIRL’S BASKETBALL KNOCK OFF #1 SEED PARK RAPIDS IN SECTION PLAYOFFS
