Now that the Covid hiatus is over, the Crookston American Legion Auxiliary and the Crookston Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary resumed their monthly bingos with the residents of the Benedictine Living Community. Lots of happy faces and winners.
The Crookston Boy Scout Troop 41 will perform a Flag Retirement Ceremony tonight at 7:00 p.m. in the South Parking Lot of Golden Link Senior Center. The Crookston Veteran’s Council held their annual Memorial Day Programs in Crookston and other Counties around the area. KROX broadcast was at the services in Oakdale Cemetery and the Naval Ceremony at the Sampson Street Bridge. They say they are nearly at their $150,000 goal for their 2022 campaign and could not achieve this goal without the entire community. The Catholic Daughters of America Court held its Catholic Daughters Education Contest that had 4th, 5th, and 6th-grade students of the Cathedral School participate in its Essay and Art contests.
