UMC Women’s Basketball Upends Mayville State

The University of Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagle Women’s basketball team used an 18-0 run to start the game and strong free-throw shooting in the fourth quarter to beat Mayville State (NAIA) 72-66 in a non-conference game played at Lysaker Gymnasium in Crookston. Minnesota Crookston appeared headed for a lopsided win after a dominant first quarter.

UMC Women’s Basketball Sign Four To NLI’s

The University of Minnesota Crookston women’s basketball team will welcome Emma Carpenter (5-10, Eagan/Eastview H.S.), Alyssa Peterson (5-7, Menahga), Mattea Vetsch (5-8, Devils Lake, N.D.), and Veronica Schwartz (5-10, Parkers Prairie/Parkers Prairie H.S.) to the team next year after she signed a National Letter of Intent.
