GOVERNOR SIGNS EXECUTIVE ORDER TO ALLOW ELECTIVE SURGERIES TO RESUME

Governor Tim Walz today signed Executive Order 20-51, providing a roadmap for safely restarting elective surgeries. Starting next week, doctors, dentists, and veterinarians who create a plan to keep patients and healthcare professionals safe may begin offering these procedures, which can treat chronic conditions, prevent and cure disease, and relieve chronic pain. MINNESOTA REPORTS 419 DEATHS, POLK COUNTY NOW UP TO 41 POSITIVE TESTS

Polk County continues to have the most positive COVID-19 tests in northwest Minnesota, outside of Clay County (Moorhead) with 41. Norman County has eight, Marshall County now has 6 positive tests, Mahnomen County has two, while Red Lake, Pennington, Kittson, and Roseau counties have one each.
