Crookston High School’s Math Counts team finished second place and Emma Gunderson won the event in the Thief River Falls competition on Friday. The middle school team at Crookston High School has implemented a new program called the P.I.R.A.T.E. (Pride, Improvement, Respect, Academics, Teamwork, Excellence) awards for seventh and eighth graders this school year.
