The Minnesota Department of Health released the COVID-19 numbers for Tuesday, November 24. The state reported 6,099 confirmed cases out of 81,183 tests for a positive rate of eight percent. The Ways & Means Committee met on Monday evening with the committee moving to make additional cuts to the 2021 tax levy. The levy had previously been cut to 5 percent after the preliminary levy was set at 6 percent in September. Each percentage point in the city’s tax levy is equal to approximately $22,000.
