18-YEAR-OLD SUFFERS GUNSHOT WOUND IN HUNTING ACCIDENT

On Saturday, September 7 the Polk County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to Riverview ER in Crookston for an 18-year-old male who had an apparent gunshot wound. Deputy’s arrived and made contact with the male victim. He was being treated for minor injuries as a result of an accidental discharge of his firearm while hunting geese.

Arrest/Fire Report – Friday, September 6, 2019

Fire Calls: The Crookston Fire Department held their monthly training on Thursday evening, then were called out at 8:40 p.m. to a home in Gentilly for a report of smoke in the basement. The investigation found no issues, and the matter was turned over to the homeowner.
