SENATOR JOHNSON SUPPORTS CONSCIENTIOUS BELIEF EXEMPTIONS FOR VACCINES

Families from across Minnesota gathered at the capitol Monday to stand against government overreach regarding vaccinations. The proposed legislation, SF 1520, would eliminate conscientious belief exemptions for vaccines for all children attending daycares, public or private elementary or secondary schools, or homeschools. Senator Mark Johnson (R-East Grand Forks) attended the rally and issued the following statement:

NO INJURIES IN TWO CROOKSTON ACCIDENTS ON TUESDAY

The Crookston Police Department reported two accidents on Tuesday, February 26 in the City of Crookston.  The first occurred at 7:02 a.m. at E 7th St and N Ash St between a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix, driven by Hailee Rice of Fertile and a 2014 Dodge Charger, driven by Abraham Martinez of Eagle Pass, TX.

BAND, STUDENT BODY SEND WRESTLERS ZACH BROWN AND LUCAS MEIER OFF TO STATE

Crookston High School held a send-off this morning for wrestlers Zach Brown and Lucas Meier.  The Marching Band joined them in a parade around the school while the student body lined the halls.   Brown, who will seek his 100th career win, and Meier will open the State Individual Tournament on Friday morning, March 1.  Chris
