The Northwest Regional Correction Center reported the arrest of the following- Ivan Jerrier Nieves Rojas, 34, of Thief River Falls, for Traffic DUI (operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a hazardous substance). Monte William Parisian, 23, of Wabun, for traffic DUI.

POLK COUNTY COMMISSIONERS APPROVE HIGHWAY PROJECTS AND CONDITIONAL USE PERMITS

The Polk County Commissioners met on Tuesday at the Polk County Government Center. CROOKSTON HIGH SCHOOL ENVIROTHON TEAM ADVANCES TO STATE

Crookston High School sent two teams to compete in the Area 1 Envirothon last week. The teams tested their knowledge of many areas of natural resources, including soils, forestry, aquatics, wildlife, and current events.
