Highland and Washington School students log over 4,000 hours of readering

The success of parents, teachers and students working together was shown in the November 10-21 Read-A-Thon held at the Highland Elementary School and Washington Early Childhood School in Crookston. Highland’s 500 K-5 students logged 3,603 hours—216,196 minutes—of reading, and 104 pre-school students at Washington booked 401 hours—24,038 minutes—of reading. Crookston Fire Calls Fire Report TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 25At 3:15 pm, the Crookston fire department responded to a motor vehicle accident on the 400th block of Washington. They performed a standard battery disconnect on scene, before turning it over to law enforcement and the towing company.

Lori Solheim wins the KROX Radi Shopping Spree

KROX’s 61st Annual Shopping Spree drawing was held on Monday, November 17. This year’s winner was Lori Solheim, whose name was drawn from Proulx Refrigeration in Crookston.
