DNR EMPLOYEE RECEIVES SMOKEY BEAR AWARD

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is honored to announce Vikki Olsen, an office and administrative specialist with the DNR’s Forestry Division, is a 2023 recipient of a national Bronze Smokey Bear Award. The Smokey Bear Awards are the highest national honor one can receive for outstanding work and significant program impact in wildfire prevention.

FOURNET BUILDING LOBBY LOOKS TO HOLD PROMOTIONAL DISPLAYS FOR LOCAL BUSINESSES

The Fournet building in downtown Crookston has seen many changes and renovations over the past two years. Most notably, the second level of the building holds all of the offices for the Tri-Valley Opportunity Council, while the third floor is where the Public Defenders are located. Yet, the lobby of the building is still vacant.
