The council chambers held more than fifty concerned Crookston residents, and nearly twenty took the podium and spoke to the council members. The Crookston School Board met on Monday evening in the Crookston High School Orchestra/Choir room and approved an increased meal rate reimbursement for staff. Downtown snow removal on all East/West streets will take place beginning at 12:01 a.m. Wednesday night/Thursday morning. North/South Streets will take place beginning at 12:01 a.m. Thursday night/Friday morning. Snow removal will take place, barring unforeseen heavy snowfall or other emergency. Vehicles on these streets will be towed if not moved.
Read-A-Thon fundraisers were held November 6-17 at Highland & Washington Schools. Students enjoyed themed days and friendly classroom competitions.
