199 people attended the Ox Cart Days Pool Party Open Swim on Thursday, August 14 at the Crookston Community Pool. Vivian and Tom Hall sponsored the event in honor of disabled veterans. Safe Kids Grand Forks presented safety tips, and all who attended had fun.
The Crookston Community Pool will reopen on Saturday, June 21, with extended hours. Open swimming will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Family Swim will be held from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. The pool will resume normal summer hours on Monday, June 23. The schedule for the rest of the summer is
The Crookston Pool reopened following the shutdown for COVID-19 in late July and, more recently, was able to add back some of it’s programming such as swim lessons. One round of swim lessons is just wrapping up, and the pool has another scheduled to start at the end of October. Pool Manager Cody Brekken
