Fire Calls: At 4:47 Tuesday afternoon, the Crookston Fire Department received a report of possible smoke on the street on the 600 block of Woodland Avenue. They investigated, but found nothing and returned to base.

Fire Calls: On Friday at 12:50 p.m., the Crookston Fire Department was called to a car fire on the 700 block of Stuart Avenue. They extinguished the fire in the engine compartment, no structures were damaged. At 3:24 a.m. Saturday, they responded to a report of a carbon monoxide detector sounding on the 500 block
The Northwest Regional Corrections Center announced the arrests of the following individuals: Nathaniel Allen Chandler, 21 of Crookston, for misdemeanor domestic assault. Dean Allen Finke, 48 of Thief River Falls, for gross misdemeanor driving after cancelation. Released on personal recognizance. Robert Wayne Sorensen, 51 of Red Lake Falls, as a felony fugitive from another state.

Darin James Brown Jr., 33 of Grand Forks, ND, for felony 3rd-degree drug possession in a school, park or public housing zone.
