The Polk County Fair would have started Wednesday, July 8, and have lasted until Sunday, July 12, but due to COVID-19, the Polk County Fair was canceled in an announcement on May 5. While the fair can’t go on, the fair board wants to give the county at least a taste of the annual event.
The Polk County Fair board has made a difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Polk County Fair that was scheduled for July 8-12. KROX talked with Michael Moore of the Polk County Fair and the interview is below. Moored said that the fair is canceled, but there has been talk of possibly having an event.
The Christian Fellowship Tent that has been a place of relaxing, inspiration and fellowship going on 45 years has again put together a full program of gospel music for the Polk County Fair in Fertile from July 10 -14. The program begins on Wednesday evening, July 10, with a Youth Night planned. Programs continue Thursday
