Polk County Sheriff’s Dept. Wraps Up A Good Summer Patrol Season

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is wrapping up their 2017-2018 Boat and Water Safety Program.  The program had a very successful year.  Deputies were busy with patrol, enforcement, boating education, and safety awareness inspections of boats and equipment for rent, lease or hire.  Deputies worked closely with Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) Inspectors within the county.
