The Kiwanis Club has announced the March Terrific Kids from the fifth grade at Highland Elementary School. One student from each fifth-grade class earns the Terrific Kid Award on the basis of grades, citizenship, a positive attitude toward schoolwork and toward other students. The Crookston Park and Rec 10U Baseball team has had a good summer and that continued this weekend with a first place finish in their own tournament at the Highland Complex. Crookston went 3-1 in the tournament and beat Warroad in a true championship game to win the tournament. Last weekend, Crookston finished second place
