UMC MEN’S BASKETBALL SIGNS TWO MORE JUCO TRANSFERS

The University of Minnesota Crookston men’s basketball team announced the signing of Uzo Dibiamaka (G, 6-3 185, Adelaide, South Australia/Iowa Central C.C.) and Jerome Mabry (G/F, 6-3 194, Milwaukee, Wis./Northwest College (Wyo.).  Uzo Dibiamaka (G, 6-3 185, Adelaide, South Australia/Iowa Central C.C. Dibiamaka averaged 8 points and 4 rebounds per game as a sophomore at Iowa Central C.C.

CROOKSTON BASEBALL LOSES BOTH GAMES OF DOUBLEHEADER TO ROSEAU

The Crookston Pirate Baseball team could not find an offensive groove as they were stymied at the plate, losing to the Roseau Rams 11-0 and 13-1 in a doubleheader played in Crookston at Jim Karn Field. GAME ONE- Roseau got off to a good start in the first inning of game one with four runs.

CROOKSTON GIRL’S GOLF FINISHES THIRD PLACE AT ROSEAU INVITATIONAL

The Crookston Pirate Girl’s Golf team finished third out of four teams while shooting a 407 at the Rams Invitational at the Oakcrest Golf Course in Roseau.  Roseau won the meet with a 403, four strokes better than East Grand Forks.  “We shot 27 strokes better than we did on our own course earlier this
