On October 11, the Crookston High School FFA Forestry Team competed at Barnesville High School. The team finished first place and is advancing to the state competition in April. The CHS Speech team kicked off their tournament season by competing at Fergus Falls this past Saturday. Crookston was one of seventeen schools competing at the tournament, and three students walked away with medals. On Wednesday, November 16, 2022, Crookston FFA had seven members travel to Northland Community and Technical College in Thief River Falls to compete in the Minnesota FFA Region 1 LDEs (Leadership Development Events). Jojo Wallace, Taylor Wieland, Addie Schiller, Ally Wagner, Brianna Colborn, and Hope Alexander competed as a team in the Parliamentary Procedure LDE.
