ROAD WEATHER INFORMATION SYSTEMS INSTALLATION IN NORTHWEST MINNESOTA

Beginning Monday, August 5, motorists traveling throughout northwest Minnesota can expect short term lane closures as Road Weather Information Systems (RWIS) are being installed in nine different locations.  The project will be completed in October. NCTC AWARDED $7 MILLION NSF ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES EDUCATION GRANT

Northland Community & Technical College, along with five other partner agencies, has been awarded a National Science Foundation (NSF) grant in the amount of seven million dollars; the largest grant ever awarded to Northland. This grant will facilitate the formation of the National Center for Autonomous Technologies (NCAT) to be hosted on Northland’s Aerospace site

TRAVELING ART EXHIBIT VISITS CAMPBELL LIBRARY IN EAST GRAND FORKS

Northwest Minnesota Arts Council sponsors an annual Traveling Art Exhibit, which visits northwest Minnesota communities throughout the year. The exhibit includes 10 original pieces of art by regional artists, chosen from works submitted for our annual juried exhibit. The exhibit is currently in East Grand Forks at the Campbell Library until August 31. See below
