TRAIN DERAILS NORTH OF CROOKSTON

On Monday, February 8 the Polk County Sheriff’s Office responded to a train derailment near Highway 75 and County Road 252 north of Crookston. Train Derails East of Fisher

UPDATE –  Burlington Northern Santa Fe is still investigating the cause of Tuesday’s derailment just east of Fisher, but had cleared and made any necessary repairs to the track for the first train to go through Crookston at about 9:00 a.m. this morning.
