KITTSON COUNTY CENTRAL OUTLASTS CROOKSTON PIRATE BOY’S HOCKEY FOR 6-4 WIN

RED LAKE FALLS IS NW HOCKEY CONFERENCE CHAMPS, ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM ANNOUNCED

The 2022 Northwest Hockey All-Conference team has been announced.  The players were selected on a vote from the Conference Coaches. Teams in the conference are Red Lake Falls, Lake of the Woods, Kittson County Central, and Bagley/Fosston. The 2022 Northwest Conference Champions are the Red Lake Falls Eagles. FOSSTON EDGES SACRED HEART TO WIN SECTION 8A CHAMPIONSHIP

Sam Gapp pitched seven scoreless innings and hit a two-run home run as the Sacred Heart Eagles beat the Fosston Greyhounds 5-0 to force a winner take all Section Championship Game. SACRED HEART BASEBALL SHUTS OUT KCC TO ADVANCE TO SECTION CHAMPIONSHIP

The Sacred Heart Eagles had great pitching from Sam Gapp and Parker Erickson and timely hitting to beat the Kittson County Central Bearcats 5-0 to advance to the Section 8A Baseball championship on Thursday.  “It was a well-played game by both teams,” said Sacred Heart Coach Paul Bethke. “We capitalized when we needed to today.”
