North Star 4-H Club wishes to thank the community for their recent Winter Gear Drive donations. Donations included hand-knit hats, scarves, socks, 75 pairs of hand-knit mittens, snow pants, and other winter gear. Club members also purchased fleece and made 120 hats for the drive with funding provided by the Minnesota 4-H Helping Hands Program.

The Kindergartners at Washington School celebrated the 100th day of school on Friday with a variety of activities. The students visited the four kindergarten classrooms for different activities. Crookston Public Schools has four new teachers in the elementary schools for the 2020-2021 school year. The new teachers are below – ELIZABETH ERICKSON Elizabeth Erickson has been a long-term substitute teacher in the Crookston School District and comes back to Crookston after teaching preschool at Hawley last year. “I’m from Barnesville originally,” said Erickson.
