“THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE” TAKES STAGE AT CHS THIS WEEKEND

The students at Crookston High School take the stage this weekend with the spring play/musical, “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.” The performance lasts about an hour and is filled with musical numbers, interesting personalities and a “magic foot”.  There is plenty of humor as well said Assistant Director Cindy Fahser. “It’s about a group of junior high kids who are competing to win a spelling bee.  They all have unique quirks and characteristics.  And there is a bunch of humor in the play as well.”
The play will be open to the public on Saturday, Sunday, Monday and for senior citizens on Tuesday.  “The play will be performed at Crookston High School Auditorium Saturday, April 13; Sunday, April 14 and Monday, April 15 at 7:30 p.m.,” said Fahser.  “We’re going to have a special senior citizen performance with brunch at 8:30 a.m.  The play will follow at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 16.”
