The Crookston Fire Department has its annual 9-11 memorial display at the Fire Department to honor the fallen firefighters, police officers, EMS, and other first responders who passed away on September 11, 2001, attacks on the Twin Towers in New York City. The department has put on a display each year since the attack, and it has continued to grow over the years.
This year’s display, once again, had the number 343 displayed to honor the number of fallen firefighters who gave their lives doing their job, as well as 343 American flags displayed in twin tower formation.
This year marks the 22nd anniversary of the 9-11 attacks.
