The Crookston Fire Department will be conducting a training exercise on Thursday, August 6, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at 102 N. Broadway.
During this training, residents may notice multiple fire trucks and emergency personnel at the location. You may also see smoke coming from the building. Please be aware that this is part of the planned training exercise and does not indicate an emergency or threat to the public.
The training will focus on advanced firefighting skills, including:
- Advanced search techniques
- Occupant removal (rescue)
- Advancing hose lines in a commercial structure
These realistic training opportunities help our firefighters strengthen their skills and improve their ability to respond effectively to emergencies in our community.
