Youth in grades PreK through seven are invited to explore the natural world with Nature Printing programs at the Crookston Public Library. Moorhead Public Schools art teacher Sara Watson Curry will lead youth in a program exploring relief printing and incorporating natural materials in art, allowing participants to create prints that can be used as cards, bookmarks, and more. All supplies will be provided, but the youth are encouraged to bring their leaves or flowers to use. This program is offered free-of-charge thanks in part to funding from the Minnesota Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund through an appropriation from the Legacy Amendment.
A Nature Printing program will be held at the Crookston Public Library on Wednesday, July 26, at 2 p.m.
