The DEA National Prescription Drug Take Back Event will be held on October 28.

For more than a decade, the DEA National Prescription Drug Take Back event has helped Americans easily rid their homes of unneeded medications, those that are old, unwanted, or expired that too often become a gateway to addiction, pose a risk for accidental poisonings, and prevents environmental health problems caused by improper medication disposal.
