The Division of Energy Resources at the Minnesota Department of Commerce will seek proposals from experienced entities with a proven track record of researching, developing, writing, preparing, and submitting successful proposals for state and federal grants. Grantees will submit proposals to provide their experience in training and technical assistance, including grant writing, financial planning and management, and stakeholder development necessary to develop successful grant applications. Throughout a three-year grant period, selected grantees will utilize Local Capacity Grants Program funds to apply for or leverage federal funding opportunities for local entities and offer technical and grant writing assistance to help build, improve, and maximize capacities for energy project planning and development across Minnesota.
A Letter of Interest (LOI) will be available for download on the Department’s website Request for Proposals (RFP) / Minnesota Department of Commerce – Business (mn.gov) through the deadline of September 8, 2023, 11:59 PM Central Time (CT).
We ask interested applicants to submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) on the provided template via electronic mail to energy.contracts@state.mn.us.
