“I’d be remiss not talking about our newest addition, which is the PRCA Rodeo on Wednesday and Thursday night. This is the big leagues for us.” Mentions Polk County Fair Representative Michael Moore, “We’ve had BBB Rodeo for many years now, but they have decided to go big time, so the PRCA is the major leagues of rodeo. It means better riders it means better contestants, and oddly enough, in my thinking, even better animals. I don’t know how you get a better animal, but anyway, that all comes with it.”
The fair includes many other things to do as well. To check out all Polk County Fair activities and events throughout the week, visit https://www.polkcountyfairfertilemn.com/premium-list.
“The Polk County Fair, right now, is probably the seventh or eighth largest county fair in the state of Minnesota. We draw between 50,000 and 60,000 people, and it just continues to be the home of family fun.” says Moore.
