THERE WILL BE A ROAD CLOSURE IN GRAND FORKS DURING THIS YEARS’ POTATO BOWL

The Kem Shriners 2023 Potato Bowl parade will return to Demers Avenue this Saturday, September 9, from 10:00 a.m. until approximately 12:00 p.m. The parade route starts at North 8th Street, traveling down Demers Avenue, across the Sorlie Bridge, and into East Grand Forks, MN, where the parade will end.  The Demers overpass and downtown cross streets connected to Demers will not be open and alternative routes should be chosen during the parade time.

The Cities Area Transit (CAT) Grand Forks bus routes 1, 2, 4, 5, and 6 will be detoured, with possible time delays, around the Demers closure.  They will resume at the end of the parade appropriately. For bus questions, please contact Cities Area Transit at 701-746-2600 for up-to-date route information.
