KROX NEWS DIRECTOR THOMAS LEZON WINS OX CART DAYS LIP SYNC BATTLE

The Crookston Ox Cart Days closed out Thursday with the Lip Sync Battle and Air Guitar Contest in the Crookston Sports Center. The event was sponsored by The Crookston Times.

After an afternoon of exciting events, the crowd was buzzing with excitement for the final event of the day and watched seven fun performances of people lip-syncing and performing some of their favorite songs.

Thomas Lezon walked away with first place with his performance of “The Whole “Being Dead” Thing” from the Broadway musical, Beetlejuice, winning $200.

Tatum Brockpahler took home second place with a $100 prize with her performance of “Dancing in the Sky” by Dani & Liszt.

Aryana Ostgaard took home third place with a $50 prize with her performance of “That Don’t Impress me Much (Dance Version)” by Shania Twain. 

Other performances included Riley Jo Dufault, Arlie Rudnik, Brandon Jacobson, along with the group of Jamison, Beau, Harrison, Bladen, Asher, and Nolan.

In the middle of the contest, an air guitar contest was also held.
