Tori Demarais Named Assistant Pirate Girls Hockey Coach

Crookston High School graduate Tori Demarais has been named the Crookston Pirate Girls Hockey Assistant Coach, pending school board approval.  
Demarais was a three-sport athlete at Crookston High School in playing tennis, hockey and softball. 
She was a doubles player on the State Runner-up Pirate Girls Tennis team and also made it to state individually in doubles with her partner Elisa Samuelson.  In tennis, she received the hardest worker award and played varsity for four years.
In the winter, Tori was a defenseman for the Pirate Girls Hockey team.  She played varsity since eighth grade and won the defense award, was named All-Section Honorable mention and received the Hobey Baker Character award and was recently honored at a Minnesota Wild game.  She played varsity for three years.
 Demarais was named the Female Athlete of the Year and graduated in 2016.
