The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch for portions of northwest and west-central Minnesota and eastern North Dakota until 10:00 p.m. Monday, June 29.
It includes 12 Minnesota counties – Kittson, Mahnomen, Marshall, Norman, Pennington, Polk, Red Lake, Roseau, Clay, and Wilken counties.
It also includes 17 North Dakota counties – Benson, Cavalier, Eddy, Grand Forks, Nelson, Pembina, Ramsey, Towner, Walsh, Barnes, Cass, Griggs, Ransom, Richland, Sargent, Steele, and Trail.
The watch includes the following cities, Ada, Aneta, Argyle, Ashby, Breckenridge, Cando, Casperson, Cavalier, Considine, Cooperstown, Crookston, Dakota Junction, Devils Lake, Drayton, Dresden, East Grand Forks, Enderlin, Englund, Faith, Fargo, Finley, Flaming, Florian, Forman, Fort Totten, Fox, Grafton, Grand Forks, Gwinner, Hadler, Hallock, Halstad, Hatton, Hayes Lake State Park, Hillsboro, Hope, Karlstad, Kelso, Lakota, Lancaster, Langdon, Lawndale, Leeds, Lisbon, Maddock, Mahnomen, Maida, Malung, Mayville, McLeod, McVille, Milnor, Minnewaukan, Moorhead, Mount Carmel, Nash, Naytahwash, Neche, New Rockford, Oakwood, Park River, Pembina, Pencer, Portland, Radium, Red Lake Falls, Roseau, Roseville, Rutland, Salol, St. Thomas, Stephen, Syre, Thief River Falls, Tolna, Twin Valley, Valley City, Vang, Wahpeton, Walhalla, Warren, and Waubun.
