TRAVIS “BULL” JOHNSON ANNOUNCES HE WILL RUN FOR MN HOUSE DISTRICT 1B POSITION

On Wednesday, January 17,  Travis “Bull” Johnson, former Candidate for US Congress in MN’s 7th Congressional District, announced that he is running to replace Deb Keil in the Minnesota State House District 1B. It was also announced that Johnson decided to participate in the candidate subsidy program and that his agreement had been accepted by the state Candidate Finance Board.

Johnson had announced a “soft launch” in December but had waited for Kiel to make her announcement before issuing a formal statement. “I have been talking to Deb for a while, and I felt this (retirement) was the direction she was heading in, but it is now official. I want to thank Deb for her faithful service to this district, while we did not agree on everything, I felt she did a great job as our representative, said Johnson. “I had not yet decided on party affiliation or if I will run independent, that will be dependent on-going conversations with my team as well as with the GOP.”

Johnson said his two signature issues on reforming the Minnesota Foster Care System and Unchaining Small Agriculture.
