TWO JUVENILE GIRLS INJURED IN ATV ROLLOVER

On Saturday, June 24, at approximately 8:23 p.m., the Polk County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an ATV rollover at the intersection of 150th Avenue SW and 220th Street SW.

Upon investigation, it appeared that the 2017 Polaris Ranger was traveling north bound through a field and attempted to turn causing the ATV to roll over. The parties involved were two juvenile females ages 13 and 15. The 15 year old was transported by personal vehicle to the hospital and the 13 year old was cleared at the scene by Crookston Area Ambulance.

The driver and passenger were not wearing seatbelts or helmets. Alcohol was not suspected.

The crash remains under investigation and no further information will be released at this time.
