The University of Minnesota President Joan Gable announced on Monday afternoon that the University’s five campus locations, including Crookston, will have all classes taught online for the rest of the school year. Gable encouraged students to stay home and continue to classes online. At this time, residence halls, dining services, and other student services are operational but reduced.
-All events held on-campus are canceled through the end of the semester, including all graduation ceremonies systemwide.
– All University sponsored travel has been canceled.
– Admissions visit programs and events are canceled until April 1, 2020.
– The Wellness Center will close Wednesday, March 18 until further notice.
– On the UMC website, it states that students shouldn’t return to campus unless absolutely necessary.
– All UMC sporting events have been canceled for the rest of the year.
– The Early Childhood Development Center (ECDC) will close effective Tuesday, March 17 at 5:30 p.m., EXCEPT for children of emergency workers critical to the State’s response to COVID-19.
