UMC GOLDEN EAGLES WOMEN’S BASKETBALL OPENS UP THE NEW YEAR PLAYING AT BEMIDJI STATE

The University of Minnesota Crookston Women’s Basketball team had a tough first half losing their last eight games of 2021, seven of them Northern Sun Conference games where they are 0-7 and 1-12 overall. They have had the Christmas break now hoping to turn things around in the 2022 part of their schedule starting this afternoon when they play at Bemidji State with the men in a doubleheader.  Bemidji State women’s basketball are 6-5 on the year and 4-3 in the conference and the Beavers have won the last five meetng’s between these two teams including an 86-80 on November 23 in Crookston scoring 35 points in the fourth quarter to pick up the win in Crookston. Game time is 2:00 PM at the Bemidji State Gymnasium and will be on KROX RADIO starting with the RiverView Health pre-game show at 1:30 PM and also the internet by going to the LISTEN LIVE link at the top of this page.
