UMC GOLDEN EAGLES WOMEN’S SOCCER LOSE ANOTHER 5-0 MATCH THIS TIME TO U OF MARYBISMARCK TO TAKE ON THE U OF MARY

The University of Minnesota Crookston (UMC) Golden Eagles Women’s Soccer team lost their 12th match in a row and the last two by identical scores as the one this afternoon as the University of Mary Marauders defeated the Golden Eagles 5-0 played in Bismarck, N.D.
The Marauders Kayla Alcott struck for two quick goals in the first 10 minutes of the game as Mary jumped out quickly. Nobody would do any scoring the rest of the first half and almost 40 minutes of the second half until the Marauders scored three goals in just over six minutes to put it away 5-0. Kaitlyn Schwass scored the last two goals and Taylor Meyrick also scored. The Marauders Maureen Sullivan also had three assists in the match and UMC had only two shots on goal in the match while the University of Mary scored five on 10 shots on goal.
UMC now has a record of 1-15 and 1-12 and the University of Mary Marauders are 9-5-3 on the season and 8-4-2 in the conference.
UMC will finish off their season this coming week hosting St. Cloud State on Tuesday in their last home match and finish it off at Bemidji State on Friday.
