UMC MEN’S BASKETBALL GETS A VERBAL COMMITMENT FROM AN ALL-CONFERENCE JUCO FROM OREGON

The University of Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagle Men’s Basketball team has received a verbal commitment from Leonard Dixon, a 6’7 Sophomore forward, from Mount Hood Community College and Sam Barlow High School in Damascus, Oregon.
Dixon will give the Golden Eagles a tall, athletic shooter that averaged 19.3 points per game while starting all 29 games and was named to the Southern Region First team. He averaged six rebounds, two steals, and two assists per game. He averaged 32 minutes per game while shooting an outstanding 43.6 percent on three-pointers (46.7% in conference play to lead the conference). He shot 82 percent from the free-throw line.
